*EDIT* I dedicate this song to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, in recognition of the fact that the answer is 42.

Game(s): Final Fantasy III, VII, X
Song(s): Battle Themes

Well now.

I didn't think I'd ever get around to this, but The Clash was so popular I couldn't resist. Verin100 wanted me to call this "The Kerplunk" or something but I prefer my title over his.

What we have here, as much as it pains me to say it, is music from Final Fantasy 7 *shudder* mixed with 10 and 3, which make up for 7. And as much as I dislike 7, I like how it fits into this song. I'm not sure whether I hold it in the same esteem I hold The Strike or The Clash, but I do like it a lot.

And before you ask, NO. No, there will NOT be a song in this series with the battle music from Final Fantasy VIII, or X-2, or XI, or XII, or the upcoming XIII - FORGET IT.

ESPECIALLY FF8. You hear me? NO FF8!

*breathes.*

Okay. Now enjoy!

Sweet, but...

What do you have against VIII? I liked all of the themes.

bitium-ribbon responds:

Against the music itself, nothing - it's just the game itself that I really really dislike. :P Plus, the music from VIII's battles is much harder to mix together with the others.

Impressed

This is the only thing I have to say about your music fusion... I'm awestruck...

Great mesh up here

I don't know what your beef with FF7's battle theme is, that's my favorite out of the whole series. It seemed to blend in well with FFX and FFIII, nicely going.

bitium-ribbon responds:

The beef is actually not with the music - it's the game itself. FF7 had some wonderful music in it (same composer as most of the series, whom I respect greatly) but FF7 as a game... eh. Not so great.

Cheers! Thanks for the review!

Greatly Done Bitium.

This piece is amazingly composed. It made the songs sound more lively than normaly. FFVII clashes perfectly with FFX and FFIII. The drums and snares are well kept in time and the songs kept close to the same tempo. I think you've improved greatly since Masters of Chaos.
This song really brings the epicness back into the songs after hearing them over one thousand times, and that's a good feeling to have. Noubo would be proud.
No wonder you quit after ten, his last game. Great Job and continue the good work.

Very nice

Really enjoyed this - definitely felt the FF7 feel in this song, but missed the FF3 feel... Glad to find someone who appreciates the original FF3 =) I was hoping for a little Kefka throwback in there, but nonetheless I really enjoyed it. Great job!

Heh, the FF6 stuff is in The Strike. Glad you like it though! :)
