Read the lyrics and you'll know what this song is about. I had to mix the song pretty low to get rid of the distortion so I'll warn you that it sounds kinda stuffy. This is a(n almost) complete song, all it lacks is proper drums (I had no other choice but to make drums with guitar pro).

Under the wrong impression
And under the influence
Such a foolhardy method
To counterattack the world

The executioner of your own execution
Too bad you never left a note to explain the crime you commited

You were way ahead of your time
No one can bring you back alive

So stupid
So meaningless
'Cause tomorrow
Everything would've been all right again

Your mother's still gazing at the sky
Desperately waiting for you to come back alive
Back alive

So stupid
So meaningless
'Cause tomorrow
Everything would've been all right again

"Cool!"

This was great, seems to sound a bit like Smashing Pumkins or something. I think that it could be a bit louder though thats mainly why you get that little mark off 10. Also you got a great voice, goes well with this stuff.

Thanks to you for finding the time to listen to my song and even like it! Yeah pumpkins is a great band, not my greatest influence but i'm proud to be compared to such great bands. i know it isn't loud enough and it really fucks me up cuz i tried and tried to make it louder but all i did was that it started buzzing too much and then i couldn't find a balance between the volumes of every track. fuckin audacity, i'm not that good a mixer :D thanks for digging!!

Great song. Really dig the vocals and words. I second what Gunshy said about the vocals, but you've got some voxs duuuddee. Songs like this make me want to pay attention to New Grounds music again, thank you my friend. Can't wait to hear more from ya!

Author's Response:

It's good to hear that you enjoy my songs man, comments like that really inspire me to get my ass up and record another song for you guys. More music is coming up but I'll warn ya that it will be acoustic 'cause i'm all excited about the new guitar. the fucking laptop mic doesn't pick up the sound very well so i'll have to figure another way to do it.. Thank you again, respect! And thanks a LOT for saying that my voice is good because i easily lose my faith as a singer (one reason is that i sing all the time and my gf can't stand it and another reason is after listening to guys like c.cornell, r.patrick and l.staley i feel like my range isn't good enough) man i talk too much shit

Author's Response:

this is such an important song to me and i want it to sound totally badass. with the somewhat ridiculous equipment that i have for recording it seems to be a task hard to overcome, but a friend of mine could probably help me out with recording it (he's got pro-tools) but i'm always miles away from all those opportunities cause i'm workin working workin cleanin other people's SHIT... THANK YOU! (dude i really need to buy a mudhoney album one of these days cause i'm most likely a complete noob with that band)

this a cool kickass song allright... i'm imagining drums there, and man it would be great. i hear sonic youth and smashing pumpkins influences there too. not too bad quality but even if the guitar isn't perfect, it should still be louder. your voice is awesome, but untamed. you should definitely practice with it like any other instrument. your melodies seem like they'd benefit from the practice, but are otherwise interesting and intricate. sweet and brutal tune overall. good job.

Author's Response:

Thank you for reviewing my song, and thank you even more for the awesome advice!

Yes I need to practice with my voice and I also think that it will sound better when I'm able to use some better stuff for recording, as I keep on repeating. This weekend I'll record some music in a home studio, probably with my band or if not, then some of my own songs (even though I've also written some of the songs for my band too). My good friend who is a drummer is going to be there helping us/me out, so I'm looking forward to re-recording this song too, if it's possible! You rule!
