I used to have dial up, and it was really slow and annoying, so I'm glad this song came out of it. Great job of mixing and distorting all the dialing noises. Amazing.

DAMN NET-ZERO!
I remember having that because it was free. But, a giant banner would fill the top part of the screen and get in the way of playing online games...GAH THAT WAS ANNOYING.
I'd click on it and minimize it...Ah..

The sounds you're hearing aren't sampled from an actual Dial-Up connection. They were all synthesized with various devices in Reason.

...And I'm really upset with myself not saving the original files for this. Because I want to mix it better very badly. I might just start from scratch.

Back when music, flash and others took 1000000 hours to download and at 99% you get disc. truely great song!!!

Thank you very much.
You know, I must say: I've been having alot of troubel finishing songs these days. This was one of the very first songs I ever made, and it seems like everyone likes it more. So I guess what I'm trying to convince myself is that I should stop concentrating on quality and produce something that people relate to. Like this song...People think back to fucking shitty ass loser crap Dial-Up. I spend nearly 90% of my audio creation process on picking the right instruments and effects and such....Dammit, I used to just swing with it. I made this song in one session. Now I spend weeks upon weeks on one song that I usually fuck to hell editing it because I decided I didn't like something.

Dammit.

"Didn't think I'd ever give a "10's across"..."

I can't even express the astonishment on this side of the computer... now, I've heard some weird stuff put together before and made into "cool sounds" but never before like this. The "noises" actually made a MELODY! I've been looking for something like this for a long time and I'm glad you've done it. I've listened to it maybe 6 times now and I have to tell you, the only part I was disappointed with was how the song had to stop when I voted a big fat 5 for it! Jesus, make more of THIS!
