Clean and dirty mix ftw.

I highly approve of the use of clean and dirty sounds mixed in one piece, it makes fora very nice auditory contrast.

Nothings squawking, mix is decent. Lots of stereo, bass in kick is present and in the synth at 3:50. I think at parts its a bit difficult to tell whats supposed to be carrying the song, whilst it creates this feeling that alot is going on, it also has the downside of making the listener tune things out and feel as if the piece is sloppy. My acutely tuned ears however don't have that problem... Obviously.

Overall, I like this song, very different, kind of mysterious, quite atmospheric, the sort of thing one may forget their listening to as they do other things only to realise its been playing for a half-hour.

As for genre, it is electronic, vaguely orchestral in some sounds, sort of mysterious, not fast. So we could call it something under the main heading of 'Down tempo', which is mainly ambient. So ambient something if we're gonna split hairs, so it has a beat... Which puts it in the realm of ambient-house/psy/trance.

I'd call it Ambient-Psy since its a little moody.

Really good

It's really good sounding, but I'm bad with genres so I couldn't tell you exactly where it should go. I pretty much post all of my stuff in pop because that seems general enough to post anything in. But yeah, this is really good though, I applaud you on it. :)

Sounds like

Sounds like an opening to a TV show. The beginning is a little repetitive, but as the song goes on it gets so much better. I like it.
