It's been a long time since I submitted anything, so I thought I'd pull something different out and toss it up here. Maybe I'll develop it into a full fledged remake at some point, but for now enjoy the loop.

The first time i heard the song, i liked it, but it was slow and sad. Now with this, it makes it upbeat and kind of happy. Cheers.

"An upbeat version of a depressing song...BRILLIANT"

Honestly I thought some of the lyrics didn't go too well with the style of that song.....

I would love to put some punk vocals and a horn section on top of this and make it a full fledged remake. Make it a real party song.

"Innovative"

Very creative. I could see this in a level... or better yet, a flash game where a music version of Mad World is placed in no lyrics then all of a sudden BAM thrown into an 8-Bit world and with this theme. I could see that happening and just blowing the mind of the player. Great job.
