If I ever have kids, I'll make sure the only thing they ever listen to is IDM. At least until they're old enough to talk and fight back.

ber-ceuse -noun,
1. a cradle song; lullaby.
2. a composition for instrument or voice, having a soothing, reflective character.

I might go back and fix stuff up. There's still plenty of time before the judging starts so drop a review if you got something helpful to say.

A good thorough song which lacks very little and breaks away from the same old same old.
10/10.
P.S. The beat is one of my favourite parts of this song, and I'm a sucker for piano

"Zippity do dah"

Dark for a kid's song, but then again, we tell them fairy tales, which were at one time horror stories.

The melody is fantastic and my favorite, you manipulate it well and blend it into many other elements (like the choir), you give hope, you set up intrigue, then nestle it back down with dark turns.

The bass beats are pronounced but the percussion remains untapped, you mostly use quirked out cymbal taps and sharp snare hits, which is very complimentary when the song is really going. At 1:43 I can certainly appreciate the minimalism but small breakdowns like that with beats only leaves you a large opportunity to do something more, but then again, the way it only lasts about ten seconds, then busts back into the melody warrants what you did originality. Dunno, I'm torn.

Very well done

I'm all out of faith, this is how I feel. I'm cold and I am shamed, lying naked on the floor.

dynamic is fucking right. i cant really critique on any EQ issues, not that i have any; just because my speakers suck. but seriously, fucking sick. this is definatly a ruqal lullaby. i can see your future children twisting and turning in bed all ready.

"kinda creepy"

date: March 19, 2009

the techno jump in throws the relaxing nature off some with its higher pitches. the techno around two minutes is sweet and smooth. would be awsome with a low vocal ooohhmmm kinda thing in the background, i hear one, but it could be a tad louder. the only thing that i really didn't like is the harsh high high pitch jump tings and the girls voice doing the "soothing" sound, but decent.
