NOTE THIS WHOLE COMPOSITION HAS BEEN PLAYED LIVE ON A KEYBOARD USING DIFFERENT PRESET INSTRUMENTS. SO IT WILL BE SLIGHTLY OUT OF TIME AND A FEW BUM NOTES WILL BE PLAYED! LOL.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

this is for you levianeo! i have resubmitted an audio file. here is what i have done to it.
I have basically deconstructed the melodies played by the instruments in the original version, then recomposed them, using effects, different subtler instruments, and added atmospheric strings. as appose to the grainy ones. I have tried to resolve the pitch bending problem, by selecting a gentler instrument, and just twisting the keyboard dial now and then. Although it has a slight "rocket man" quality LOL.
I have added pizzicato strings crossed with harp sounds. to give it a more orchetrated feel. also added oboes and clarinets playing a quieter melody in the background.
You may or may not be able to hear the piano. it is subtle. they dont need to stand out. Several sounds together gels to make one larger overall unified sound, this is what is causing the mood and atmospherics in this piece.
well, as you can tell i took the original sample playing the main melody, but all other melodies REMAIN ASWELL! only they are being softened and played gently with velocity and mood.
Well, i think i am all steamed out! lol. OH! also i felt a longer intro added to the tension of the piece, and gave it more space to build up for the main melody.

O.K. dude. i really hope you like it. it took me about an hour and a half. thanks alot for letting me interperate this piece. i have tried explaining what i did to improve it (in my perspective, this version may sound crappy to anyone but me! LOL) and hope this helps you to grasp what additions you can make to a song to improve it, and give it more mood, emotion and how to structure songs more effectively.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH LEVIANEO!

ALL OTHER LISTENERS!!
THIS PIECE IS MY INTERPRETATION OF LEVIANEOS COMPOSITION. I DID NOT CREATE THE ORIGINAL.
BUT I HAVE BUILT UPON IT. I HAVE HAD PERMISSION TO ADD MORE TO THIS SONG, AND HOPE IT CAN BE ENJOYED JUST AS MUCH AS THE ORIGINAL.
THANKS AND PLEASE COMMENT. :D;D;D

"Very moving."

I'm kinda stuck in a slump right now. Stupid problems with my girlfriend. I hate drama. And it just really sucks. I won't be getting any sleep for a while. And i'm feeling quite miserable. So, music writing time. Can't just sit here and whine about it. But eh, the world sucks sometimes. Hope you've been doing good though. I hate when others feel miserable. Hope your all swell and just dandy.

Nice piece, not really making me sleepy though thanks to good ol' insomnia. Oh, except it did put my foot to sleep. Haven't heard the original, and don't plan on it. Any touch you put on a piece makes it 10x better. Its kind of an uplifting tune, which is exactly what I needed to hear right now. It makes me feel like everything is fine, and that's good. But illusions never last. Thanks for making me feel a little better through the power of music though. I just have to sort out this issue. And if you want to know me better, just pm me sometime. We can talk and whatnot. Talk to you later or something. Now I just have to find something to keep my mind busy.

Illusions are realities way of saying you need to believe :)
i hope your personal problems are sorted out soon. its good that you write your feelings out. music is a very good medium to expell your negative energies :D

will feel better and things can change in mere seconds, whatever happens i am sure your grounded enough to do the right thing for yourself as much as your girlfriend.

this peace wasnt really that great. people keep reviewing these ones but they are very "meh" to me :D i played this on my keyboard layering with harps and stuff. pretty dull and repetitive but thats what ng likes i guess hehe. thanks so much for the comments! and positive scores of course hehe ^ ^ TAKE CARE!!!!!!!!

Great job to LeviaNeo for the original idea and to you for putting the extra touches + explanation.

I both enjoyed the piece AND learned something out of it (at least I hope so)! DOUBLE THE FUN!

I'll definitely re-listen to this now and then [hoping to learn by repetition how you gave "the atmosphere" ;o) ]

P.S. I LOVED the keyboard-dial (would it be correct to call it a pitch-bend?) thing.

Author's Response:

yes lol. the wheel is called a pitch bend wheel. so i guess so :D
in terms of atmosphere. i would define it as an EXTRA presence caused by the merging of instruments. it is the unity of the instruments that creates another sound... like adding another dimension, which you can feel.
it is not something i hear, but i feel it kind of.
I am not preaching high and might opinions of music at you. Just how i percieve atmosphere. and what i would judge it at.

i think to capture such a feel, their must be something mimicking the heart beat... at a subconscious level i mean. your mind can create the illusion of hearing a heart beat. that is what i think i achieved with the (here i go again LOL) PIZZICATO strings lol . I try to make the Strings flow as much as possible. just to keep something always present in the piece at a nice friendly pace. um...i cant really explain it very well. sorry! lol. i think if i really thought about it i could explain it. but not in a response review lol.
i will PM you if i get any ideas.
OH! try making some. posting it. and i will see. Also DO NOT add any drums or synths that whine or have attitude. just use the synths closest to sounding orchestral. it may or may not be more challenging. but if you need help i am always here.
thanks alot for reviewing this work. and i am glad it is worthy of a ten! :D:D:D
you rock :D:D:D thanks.
