Howdy NG, new song addition here. At the time I was looking for a different sound, something slower but still to my liking. While creating this I had a couple friends enjoying the slower pace and hip-hop/R&B feel and I stuck with it. A week later the song was finished and I'm just now deciding to upload it here to see what everyone else thinks. Comments are appreciated.

I started using FL Studio over a friends about.. 5-6 years ago. I started messing around with hip-hop type beats, but then evolved to my current status. I've had my share of practice but it's never done in this line of work. Always learning new things.

It's not a perfect song, on the outside-there are some rough edges. I think the beat could use some work, but it But there's something in there that makes me nod my head just a bit anyway, and so I downloaded it, and then lyrics starting popping into my head. Want them? ._.''

So let me actually give some detailed feedback for once:

PROS
+4.00 - Catchy
+1.00 - Good mood (Calm)
+1.00 - No volume distortion
+1.00 - Simple and uncluttered

CONS
-1.00 - Simple
-0.50 - Background arp synth just... doesn't fit, imo
-0.50 - Kick and snare feel a little generic
-0.50 - Clap is a little too sharp/too far in front
-0.50 - Repetitive

OVERALL: 4/5
WEIGHTED: 8/10, because it's catchy, and I like it
DOWNLOADED: Of course

SUGGESTIONS: Soften the beat-especially the clap and the snare-and maybe change the arp around a bit? I can't really think of an instrument, or sample, or sound that would work better, but the current one just sounds... a little off, to my ears.

While making it I would have friends over and they would randomly make up some lyrics to go with it, so I left it with a layout as a song, instead of melodies being the "lyrics. I don't mind if you send the lyrics, would be interesting to see what people can come up with.
