This is an RTS-style track inspired by the Wood Elves of Warhammer Fantasy. I tried to take the "Lord of the Rings" and "Night Elves" music as a starting point, but make it more creepy and far more primitive. The forest slowly awakens, is pissed off, and then marches to war under elven guidance. Enjoy!

"nice piece"

date: December 5, 2009

at first i wondered why is this in the video game section? as it wouldn't normally fall under that category for my ear. But then it hit me that this would be perfect for an intro or transition scene in a somewhat serious game. "stranded in a forest at night" or even a coastal scene i could almost make those wooshing sounds out as waves if i had the right visual aid.

haha rambling... anyway nice piece even if it doesn't have much of a melody at its core it definitely sets the mood

"the master or orchestra"

date: September 5, 2009

Orchestra of the night, the haunted forest is being stirred... this could depict any manor of seriousness, even natives at war preparing for the slaughter.

Creepy

"Dark and creepy indeed!"

by: Johiak

A really ominous song. You can almost feel how the dark forest behind you awakens, wanting only to go for your throat.
I loved how you used many different percussions and well balanced sounds. Very imaginative and detailed.
In my opinion the song lacks in a culmination. Although I enjoyed how it develops after the second minute, i kept waiting for a little bit more in the end.

But nevertheless this piece is very atmospheric. Good job! I like it very much.
