Hi, I'm a fat, southern guy with some guitars, a computer, an a free recording program called Audacity. I hope you enjoy my stuff, and if you don't. Tell me why you don't. Just tell me. It's okay. You won't get flamed. Really. Just tell me how you think I could improve.

This is the only song as of now, (3-10-09), that me and my dad have written together. It was done a good while back, October of 2007. My dad was just learning drums, and so we had to record everything on a seperate track. It started as (and still is) an acoustic jam that me and my dad had one night in the living room while I was trying to think of something I could play for my Fine Arts midterm. I had thought of the D major arpeggio a few nights before, but I knew that it need something else behind it. That night, my dad had brought out his acoustic and thought it would be fun if we tried playing something. I had only been playing a year and a couple of months at that time, so I didn't really know how to play with others that well. Me and my dad hardly ever get to play, even now, due to work and school and life. Anyway, I started playing the D and then he came in with the D and the C9th (or is it 6th?) and next thing we knew, we had a song! I played both solos in the song as my dad is more of a rhythmic player. I only did my rhythm and lead track, Dad did: the other rhythm part, bass, and drums. Some of my friends apparently think it is the greatest thing I've ever done. I'm inclined to disagree, although this song will always be incredibly special to me. Sorry for the sentimental rant there everyone. Enjoy!

Excellent!!!!

This song is really good, and has the potential of being great.
There is an almost "EPIC" core there.
A southern gracefulness, with a bluesy smoothness is present.
It has a relaxing feel, and draws you into it in a way that you
can almost feel the river as it flows. I give this one a big thumbs up!!!

TheHFCB responds:

Thank you very, very much.

I LOVE it!

I love this song.
Its so sotheing, I wish it had lyrics.
Its already really good.
I just wonder what it would sound like with lyrics

TheHFCB responds:

Thanks. However, you always tell me this about this song. By the way, since I've let it slide in the past- [soothing].
