Zapp Brannigan Montage

Share Download this song

Author Comments

The life and times of Zapp Brannigan, the Democratic Order Of Planets' most decorated war hero.

Featuring the voices of Zapp, Kiff Kroker and Richard Nixon, all acted by myself in tribute to the Futurama team and the amazing vocal talents of Billy West (Zapp, Nixon) and Maurice LaMarche (Kiff)

This is a selection of my favourite quotes from this larger than life character. I hope you appreciate it.

I have now started using Audacity to make the recordings, so issues with my previous submission should now be a thing of the past

Good

I really liked your Zapp Brannigan. It was easily recognizable. I love that monologue. Your Futurama Nixon can sound a bit more "cartooney". The audio sounded a bit shaky at times.

Coop responds:

Poor mic quality, I'm afraid - I have since updated all of that, so maybe I'll get a script written and do some of my own Futurama skits made?

uhmm

uhmm, well it was ok..

Coop responds:

Uhmm... thanks?

I am the reviewer with no name. Letiger!

All the writing that made me laugh at time is attributed to Futurama. Now if you wrote this yourself, then I would be lauging my ass of big time and giving you maybe a 9.

I noticed the voiced were off so I read that it was a dub. Using your voice. You do all the other voices, especially Kif, pretty well. It took about 2 lines for me to realize that it was a dub. Basicly that's all there is to tell. The jokes/humor are not yours.

The voices I've already said so what more is there to tell? The humor in uniform?

Coop responds:

I thought for this piece it was more of an advertisement that I could get my voice to damned near what people were after, so that they would recruit me for voice acting work. This might mean that there was no writing actually by me, but these days, you aren't usually expected to write, voice act, produce everything yourself from start to finish.

Perhaps I'll come back this year with something that is written by me and takes my interpretation of Zapp a little further.

Not bad.

You don't sound exactly like the voices, but your not too far away either. Good quality voices though. Plan on being in any Futurama flashes in the near future?

Your Zapp voice isn't too bad, but you can hear the difference slightly. Can't be exactly the same though.

The Kiff had to my most favorite and I think you did the best with his voice in my opinion.

The Nixon voice.. I had no clue who you were even trying to sound like until after I read your author comments. Maybe I'm just not hearing it though. I can see traces of it after I realized you were trying to voice act like. (Seems like people disagree with me on this, but oh well I guess that's the purpose of a review)

Overall, not bad voice acting at all.

Coop responds:

I'd love to be a part of a Futurama flash, but it;s a case of getting myself close to it. I'm not quite there yet, but give it time.

Perhaps I'll have to make a piece that covers a few of the other voices I do - Zoidberg, PRofessor and Hermes, to name but a few.

Pretty damn funny

Sounds like Zapp alright, he was very damn annoying but also very funny. I enjoyed how this humored me all along. I hope to hear you try doing even more voices in the future. Made me chuckle quite a bit. :)

Coop responds:

Zapp just happened to be the voice that I enjoyed the most when I watch Futurama. I know that some people think that my Nixon isn't too bad either, but perhaps doing this as a bit of fun is a precursor to bigger and better things
