Right, first one of the year.
I've been idle for a while. Don't know why, just couldn't be arsed really.

But here we go Don't Stop Believing by Journey.
This has been sitting on FL for a few months so I thought I'd finish it off.

I'm not too sure whether or not I like this song, I particularly hate the percussion but I couldn't be bothered to do anything about it.

Let me know what you think n_n

Great

this is really awesome, but quick question, why is this in video game music :/

Thanks
Because it's made using 8bit sounds. Therefore video game music technically :)
And cause I felt like it really :3

Woah-ho-ho!

Talk about the best of both worlds! Pretty much my favorite song, combined with a kick ass game tune!! Niiiice!!! and this would make one AWESOME ring tone, mah boy! Keep it frosty!
D-E out.

I Love All Your 8-Bit

But I'm Trying To Figure Out How Much Time You Actually Spend On Them...

Getting The Exact Notes Can Be Hard Without A MIDI File.

And This Sounds Perfect.

3xosc???

:D

Good Job :)

Maybe You Can Teach Me 8-Bit Sometime.

Well I know it sounds a bit weird but I find 8bit music is probably the easiest genre to produce being that it is so limited to sounds you can use. It's really just a matter of getting the notes down which I happen to think I've got a good ear for (even if I do say so my self :P) This can take anywhere between 2-3 days or 2-3 weeks.

This one inparticular I started in late 2008 and I had lost interest in it until recently.

I didn't actually use 3xOsc here :3 Just triforce and magical8bit plugins. Oh and Hypercanvas.

Oh please, from listening to your songs I doubt there is anything I could teach you :) You make some fantastic stuff

Thanks for reviewing :)

good

not really much into the 8bit songs (about the only one I liked was from animeremix for the pillows sunrise song) but this was pretty good. What is the song from again? I forgot and I know I heard the original someplace.

Erm, I didn't take it "from" anything, I just like the song :3

It's on an episode of Scrubs.. Maybe you heard it there? I dunno :P
