This is a track Quarl and I collaborated on, just a fun project to tap yo' feet to. Some jazz improv techniques were used during the introduction of the second synth and throughout various other sections of the song. Quarl is a great musician to work with and I recommend checking out his page.

"Great!"

You know it is really funny how this song doesn't have more views even though Quarl put this in his album. I guess people on Newgrounds are just freeloaders :P
Well this is great. A very happy and uplifting beat. Definitely in its own class!

The highs are really piercing here. Plus it sounds really thin and is lacking bass. I had to turn my volume way down and then I still didn't want to listen to it because it was hurting my ears. Which is a shame because there's a lot of really interesting stuff going on here, some nice rhythms and melodies and the song progresses pretty well. My main problem is just that synth doing all the soloing and glitching, your piano and some other sounds are already taking up the highs, maybe move it down an octave or two or even change the sound itself. It has too much presence in the mix and it's very distracting from the rest of the song. I'd like to hear a remaster though.

I can appreciate the work that's gone into it. You may, however, want to try mastering the overall sound in more than one medium, because it's piercing my ears even on a laptop speaker (all of the high end is really cutting).

I like the piano part of the track.

Thanks for the helpful feedback... were probably going to re-master this track at some point in the future and will take this into consideration...

Great quote sir! I'm amazed at how this managed to go through the audio portal with out a single vote... I usually get six zeros. Oh well. I guess the kids weren't on at 1:16 pm 3-6-09 when this finally got accepted.
