Well, i can certainly say that I took my time with this one.

New bunch of settings for my Pod, turned down inputs on mixer and EVERYTHING like a complete audiophile. hahaha....

I spent ages getting Volume levels, EQing and Compression right - Basically made sure absolutely everything in this mix flows together nicely and DOES NOT CLIP.

The tune was basically an idea for a riff I started out with which was inspired partially by Melodeath bands like Scar Symmetry, Soilwork and Disarmonia Mundi.

Updated cymbal and hi-hat volume and EQed the toms so they're 'hearable'. ;D

"riffs"

the opening riff of this is used in unfathomable cycle of life x2, in the middle part of that song the riff is like an octave lower. but not a bad useage of the same idea and still make it sound different.

"Scar Symmetry?!"

I absolutely love Scar Symmetry and you can tell they inspired you a bit. The track is simply amazing. I kept waiting for vocals to come in, then I remembered I was on new grounds.
Great work. Love to see more like this.
