This is for the SNB flash coming out. (http://www.newgrounds.co m/bbs/topic/1033464/1)

This is my Metal Gear Solid entry, titled 'The Best Is Yet To Come,' which was from the PS1. I was thinking of doing the original title theme, but figured someone would get that one before me. So I got another epic song that I'm sure people would be able to recognize. Rate, enjoy, and review.

Edited :

Increased tempo, war drums, and an actual snare this time.

"So Overwhelming!"

date: November 28, 2009

Might want to add the flute part at the beginning though, don't know if you didn't add that on purpose or not. This song always played in the most overwhelming parts of the story. When you find out that Naomi injected you with FoxDie. When Meryl is getting shot up, which is wierd how she survived 3 sniper bullets and she's telling you to live on and don't forget her. When you kill Sniper Wolf. When you return to Shadow Moses Island in MGS4 (which made expectations way to high). This songs really epic man. 5/5

"this was great"

very moving and powerful beat. I kinda was hoping it exploded into a more high paced action piece, but its still awesome the way it is, great work

epic song.
Manages to keep the original feeling of the old song.
Yet at the same time, the things you added gives it that unique flavor ur songs have. Really well done I have to say. At first I wasn't gonna listen to it cause everyone else on the internet managed to fuck this song up. Your the first to manage to NOT FUCK IT UP! For that I give you a cake. (Careful! It's not real.)

God forbid if the cake is ever real. Thanks for the review :3

"lol Stealing."

Why do people insist on complaining about "stealing" beats...
Using a beat isn't the same as using the whole song and calling it your own, Its like baking a cake, you follow some of the recipie and add your own flavor. If these people knew anything about the art of music, they would know most music is based on other music, some to the point of blending the beat of one and the rhythm of another. Its the way it works for everything. Civilization built on another. The forest burns, and grows back stronger. The very foundation of music is built on the beats, rhythms, and rhymes of the past.
