Publicity is publicity, these guys leaving comments about him stealing make people wanna see them. And that makes them listen, making him look better.
And yea, your music isn't exactly the most unique, but its great anyway, so who really needs to complain...
Deep down in side I think they like it. And generally it turns out better than the original.
Funniest thing is people never talk about covers like they are thieves, and if you think about it, even if they make the sound with their own instruments, its basically sampling, only analog, instead of digital.
