One More To Add...

Tokolos pretty much said it all. Except I have one thing to add to his critique. You need a low cutoff filter on the acoustic. Get rid of the low warbly sound. Other than that, I have nothing to add to what Tokolos has already said.

3/5 and 6/10 overall.

Theledge93 responds:

i would change it, but i have no idea what you are talking about. is there a portion of the song that this is the most apparent? because i honestly don't see a problem with the acoustic.

Twas good

A bit mellow for my liking , but then classical pieces tend to be , excellent work old chap , carry on what what and such.

Theledge93 responds:

oh. Wow! thanks! I like getting good reviews!

Golden Age

Put some Bass in it

Theledge93 responds:

i'd do that, except there is TONS of low-end intruments. you can't even hear all of it now. if i took one out, you'd notice, but you can't notice when there left in. go figure.

Golden Age

Wow_this is such a huge contrast from the previous version, the intro / fade-in is a nice touch. I like the fact that there's more of a conversation between the different instruments now. Some of the low end stuff you can try to clarify a bit more...maybe use less notes/chords on the bassy stuff 2 bring out the higher melodies/notes more. Send all the low end bass stuff to it's own fx channel and center them in the mix. Then all the cool panning effects you added will stand out more.
This track is becoming somewhat of a journey...
I'm keen to hear the next version too though, you should make a series, I 'd love to add one too!
plz don't delete them ( other versions ) I want to listen to the 1st one again and it's gone.

Theledge93 responds:

I'll repost it if i have it. i probably do. i'll totally post. but the guy under you thought i shouldn't keep older versions. so i deleted them. i'll bring em back up.

for the series, it'll be a collab. i'll make my own "Journey" and ,you make your own path, but our projects, never intertwine. so i'll give you the basic 1st version guitar, and you can take it from there. it'll evolve into two totally different songs sounding strangely similar. From now we'll name it "The Journey of _______ 1,2,3 Etc. "(Either me or you depending on who made it.)

i'll explain this better in a PM.

how many will there be :P

the strings at the beginning look nice, the progression flow, the flute seems to go out of sound flow, try another type of flute or add more reverb to it, honestly I think the flute just complicates the song, the end is rough, even if not so rough as in last versions, and the song could go for a solo part so soften the ears of the listeners

Theledge93 responds:

if you keep telling me to change things, then there will be many more versions. i want PERFECT! i want you to listen and shit your pants with pure awe-ness. obviously that didn't happen here. so i'll work on what you said, and get back to you. I'd rather you be a tough critic than someone who hands out tens everywhere.

I'm sorry if this is starting to get annoying. i'm really trying to get this song right.
