This is one of the extended and simplified partitions of my larger project, which will likely be in the works for quite some time. This small section will be much more than it is now when it is added to the greater whole.

However, I believe this section makes an excellent ambient video game loop, and I will be using it in my upcoming project as well. It's great for those a huge variety of scenarios: bleak, meaningful, sad, confused, regretful, hopeful, and so many more. I hope this will be put to good use.

Please review this! I'd love to hear anything you have to say.

wonderful!

this is absolutely wonderful, simplicity and elegance. i can't wait for the full song. i also wanted to say thank you for taking time to respond to each of the comments. it shows that you really do try and want to please your listeners

ObsidianSnow responds:

"Simplicity and elegance"... very well said, thank you.

..."thank you for taking time to respond to each of the comments"... You know, honestly I don't think I ever would have expected to get a thank you for that... That actually means a lot...

... I'm really not sure what else to say...

Thank you for the review, sorakeyking.

Mind if I use this?

Me and my friend are producing a thirty-minute Flash Animation video to be aired soon. The opening scene requires music to be truly meaningful, and this music is perhaps perfect for the project. Would you mind if we used this song? You would be mentioned in the credits.

ObsidianSnow responds:

Sure, just pass me a PM with a couple details just so I know what's going on (and so I have a record of it). It sounds like it would be put to good use, so my answer will most likely be very positive.

Thanks for the review, LyleAndFed.

Genious

this song is great so simple but still harmonic and fluid
i love it
do you have sheets , tabs or a midi file?

ObsidianSnow responds:

I'm glad you like it so much - and yes, I do have the MIDI file. Responded to your PM, and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks for the review, kollateralschaden!

So heart warming...

And yet, it still has a sort of melancholy presence to it. Though I do enjoy a strait piano song, there should be one other instrument if not more. The addition I hear in my head sounds like a cello, producing a soothing line of cords that go along with the base line of the song. Though it adds to its melancholy tone a bit, it also brings out a sign of hope. Oh, how my heart aches to hear more!

ObsidianSnow responds:

You might be hearing the cello in your head because there's actually a very, very quiet cello part playing in the background XD. I intentionally made it very quiet to make it so that people would only be able to register it subconsciously, which is part of the reason I think it has such a strong effect on a lot of people. Mind you, you're probably right that I should add another more audible string instrument. I'll make sure to add that when I put the whole project together.

Btw, even when you listen for the cello, it's next to impossible to consciously hear. Just thought I'd mention that, since I can just see you going back and listening again to make sure XD

Thanks for the review, Litch-Of-Doom!

Great!

You could defenetly turn this into a song with some other intsruments, maybe orchestra or something. (and a bit longer of course) Great job! R ยค B

ObsidianSnow responds:

Yeah, I'm still working on the rest of the song - this is just a bridge section of the larger whole. And there are definitely strings and other orchestral instruments in the other sections of the song, so yes, you're right. Orchestral is the way to go with this one ;D.
It's actually something of a creepy song, when you listen to the whole thing, but relaxing, too. Be sure to check it out when it's complete - btw, it won't be called "Eternal Memories", it'll probably be something like "Shadows Of Transcendence".

Thanks for the review, Randybalma.
