A semi classical piece designed for relaxation and atmosphere. i created it to be quite moody, but with a punch to it. please give it a chance as I tried hard to compose this, even though it has attained an odd 80s love scene feel.
How ever i am told the drum beat can be potentially annoying because the drums sound too clumsy and repetitive. I would edit it but i have not got the program anymore! well. what evas.
Thanks for listening and please comment.

Smells good.

I don't get "80's love scene" at all.. Which is a good thing! I like the beat and the subtle trumps. Needs more voice. I like it though, especially the random piano tickle near the end. If this was a salad I would eat it, and I hate salads, well that's a lie, but still.

Stalagmite responds:

thanks to you old beanage! yes i worked hard on this one when i had reason. i dont have it anymore. but i loved composing on it =D and keep your nose to yourself! dont go around sniffing peoples songs or they will get the wrong idea!!!

So-called clumsy drums.

Whoever made that obseravation about the drums was correct. However, the drums did not actually at all repetitive to me and that was refreshing. And the clumsiness makes them feel like an additional integral instrument rather than just a background beat.

Stalagmite responds:

WEeeeeeeeeeeeee! thanks man! clumsy drums suck i think though. however as you say they are "noticable" instead of being just a neccesity. :D:D:D
thanks for the joy and review :D:D:D

Wow...

The sound is very nice, but the bass and drums are covering the piano and other instruments. Damn it! It could've been the perfect music for a sci-fi-manga serious moment.

Maybe the beat seems a little clumsy, but it's always interesting to find NEW ways to create a beat, don't you think? ;o)

I really appreciated. Great job (as always from what I've heard so far)

Stalagmite responds:

thanks! i never thought of it like that. i am sorry for ruining your tender anime moment their kind sir! lol. if i had the original file i would send it to you without the drums. yayness on a stick. and thanks for your generous reviews! :D :D :D truly valued.

Very nice

You certainly achieved the relaxing effect. I can really sit back to this.

Good stuff
---------------

Very relaxing
Good buildup
Strong melody
Nice use of subbass
Percussion is fine

Other stuff
---------------

Its a bit quiet. I put my stereo in pretty loud and I still have trouble hearing it clear. You could increase the melody volume a bit.
Some panning effects would be nice.

I know you can't come back to this track. But maybe you can use this review for later works.

Stalagmite responds:

thanks to my first review on this song! owe you one lol. I am pleased you have enjoyed this piece. i must say there is not actually a defined melody as such during alot of this piece. that was kind of intentional. i didnt want to make anyone "think" to much. it distracts from the clear state of mind i hoped to achieve. I will definately work on my volume control LOL. it is a pain when all your songs have inconsistent volumes.
Also panning effects sound good. wish i thought of it before! lol.
Anyhows. I am greatful for your input friend, its all taken in and appreciated. Thanks alot. :D
