Who wants some Sky Like Spring? It's a song. Isn't it? Anyway, you should listen through the whole thing whoever you are. Take some time out of your oh so busy day and review and rate... and not zero bomb because of the first thirty seconds or so. Maybe... maybe reading through this will force you to listen to more? Okay then... i'll tell you a story.

Imagine this: a nice big hill with woodland wilderness all around you. You are on top of the hill. You look to the east and find the sun is slowly rising over the distant mountains, casting a faint orange glow to the purple surroundings. You feel yourself glow with love for the world you are in, the oasis on which you stand. Let the beautiful sun fill you up... make you feel good about yourself. Save this world, cherish this moment. It will be gone soon.

Another great song

I can't think of any criticism except that the snare makes the music a bit jerky at the beginning...

But anyway this is going on my favourites.

powerful!

the snare in the beginning was overpowering. once the synth came in at :35-rockin! i loved the chord progression! it was powerful! and i felt the tempo was just right! i felt it needed something a little more....a pad, something....in the lower range. this has a GREAT start! the synth melody at :35 is already stuck in my head! keep it up! 4/5 and 8/10!

Kaizerwolf responds:

Well, sweet thanks! Yeah, i agree, a pad would do nicely.

I liked it!

The bass at the beginning was cool, the kick/snare really got my attention.

You may need to EQ your snare and hat a bit, they're quite bland, yet strong.

The lead solo at 0:46 was sort of unexpected, and was kind of empty.

I like the snare roll and then the part afterwards, with your typical trance beat!

I must say though, this song is quite repetitive, it took a little while for it to change up.

That new synth that comes in has a nice sidechain on it, don't know if that was deliberate, or it may just be the strong bass pushing the actual final master of the synth lol...I've done that before by accident.

Nice arp lead that comes in later, really driving.

Your song is really bassy overall, which is good, but it's almost too bassy, the bass and kick almost have a tendency to drown out all other sounds, especially the highs.

Overall great job, yet it has room for improvement. :]

4/5
8/10

Keep at it! I'll be watching you!

Kaizerwolf responds:

Thanks for the in depth-ness of the review :)

I'll be sure to work on some of the things you said.

good work

I like your melodies and your synths are also pretty good. But the reason why I give you a 8 out of 10 is because the drums are in my opinion just ruining your song. I'm sorry to say, but they sound very cheap (the drumrolls are OK though) but the strange breakbeat and quite standard FL samples make it sound cheap. I hate the kick you used the most of all haha

Sorry for the 8, but with better drums it would definitely be a 10/10. You've got a 5/5 from me though ;)

Kaizerwolf responds:

Yeah, the drums weren't standard FL, but yeah, i agree in some parts they could be better.
