This is my interpretation of the one top songs in newgrounds right now. (Broove's Heartbeats) Which you should check out.
With this loop I tried to keep 'Subtle' in mind, and ended it on a V chord to make it loop better. If this gets good reviews and a decent score I will extend upon this later. Because I still have alot of ideas for this xD
I thought of a different title but this works too. I imagined a mother telling a story to a child to sleep, or rocking her to a lullaby at night.

About your song..
To be honest, I can't hear similarities between these two songs.
Nevertheless, this one actually sounds pretty good. I loved some moments (for ex. 1:18, 1:32).
It didn't touch me thouh..
But overall pretty, lovely and a light song, perfect for a background.

Yeah. I kind of liked that part too and maybe I'll build around that part later. And why you can't hear any similarities? I guess I just aimed for that feeling I got from it :P

The dynamic articulation is spot on! I think more timing "errors" (gradual lapses in the tempo, dropouts etc.) would be nice to make this feel even more warm and cuddly :)
I think this would loop better had you ended on the IV chord... The perfect cadence feels too final and following the IV it sounds kind of forced wheras the rest of the piece just flowed so naturally.

Constructive, I like that. Thanks, I'll be sure to keep in mind about the tempo stuff, and about the IV, yeah. I think I'll edit most of that chord out and add more of the major ones for a lighter sound.
