Easy Listening - Classical

Author Comments

-A peice designed to empower the listener, and relax the mind.

-I never play the same piece twice. Because i always make it up as i go along, so i can never remember it.

-I have called it the castle because that is the first thing it made me think of. no deep meaning or secret codes or magical metaphors.
It is not about anything complex.
just a castle... simple. minimal. beautiful.

please acknowledge that this was played live. once. so any mistakes make me human, and the peice more organic. maybe lol. (excuses heehee) thank you for listening and please comment :D

I could totally imagine a trance/dance remix of...

It would be fucking epic. You're a great pianist bro, and this song really does have quite a mood to it.. It seems like a sad, but calm, but also beautiful sort of thing going on. I really like it.

Stalagmite responds:

hehe ! thanks man! i tended to go into a bit of a blind trance with my music, but now i can control my emotions more, i am certainly better than this, considering it was my first song posted ^ ^ thanks dewd! i havent listened to this in months either :D

Feels good.

Mo mo mo mo. poker face. I like piano and you don't disappoint, I think I've heard similar tune before, some opera or something.. whatever it's good, you're nice.

Stalagmite responds:

my music is purely improvised but obviously despite the spontinuity of the music,i i still learn my techniques and chord patterns from other musicians. so it is bound to sound like something. :D =D THANK you for all those hundreds of reviews. all the replying made me get Repetitive strain injuries. so no wanks tonight....thanks for that =D lol.

Great one

The first two minutes reminds me of The Fountain's soundtrack by Clint Mansell, and it is a really big compliment as I'm a big fan of his music.

The rest of the song is also good heh!

Good job!

Stalagmite responds:

holy frazzles! igladly take your generous compliment! ;D thanks so much buddy!

i will check out clint mansell now then :D i may like it too! :D thanks man!

Bearing in mind you only played this once...and you make it up as you go along...I'm speechless. xD
Just the sense of harmony in general is beautiful on its own, but when coupled with the melody and general performance of the piece, this is almost too good...if that makes sense xD

Emotional from start to finish, the last minute or so was simply sublime.
Downloaded, 5'ed, 10/10, massively congratulated.
