So it's snowing outside. So I'm stuck here. Music Time!
I've had several of you *hint hint you know who you are* ask for me to put up an original piece.

I've had this loop stuck in my head for a really long time, and finally I decided to do something about it ;)
It's not quite a loop...but it's not quite a song....it's a ... sloop,,,

ANYWAYS

This is song is inspired by stars you wish upon at night; the power, elegance, and energy of your hopes and dreams.

I hope you like my very first original post.

you are really good at this. really good. like you could make albums good lol. well i -think- ive heard all you submissions now. i must say, not one of them disappointed me. when i hear this i think of someone walking alone in a snow drenched forest.. just walking with the weight of there thoughts on there mind.. then looking up... seeing the clear blue sky and the sun to greet him/her.. then suddenly, the snow instantly melts, not leaveing a drop of water on the ground. the trees and flowers blooming all around, then seeing all this, their mind has finnaly eased, and for no particular reason, they smile, and run through the forest, feeling the fresh spring air againsts thier face... yes im aware when my mind starts running its hard to stop... but now that i read what i just put down... i may make something out of that....

"Nyaan?..."

I just noticed something... I've given you a 10 recently, for the Hymn of Fayth. Do you remember that "feeling" I mentioned that I give 10s for? Guess what. You've done it again. It really feels like a "Christmas morning" song, waking up excitedly and tearing through your presents, or maybe even a "Christmas Eve" song, running around at the last minute (we all do it) to finish getting one or two last things, and then coming home to find a suprise Christmas party waiting for you. I can definitley picture many scenes with this music playing in the backround. Once again, very well done. Cheers!

O.0 Don't say Christmas around me.... I'll litterally die of pure joy! Tis my favorite season, and I always go positvely nuts; I have holly jolly greetings and yule tide coming out my ears... you have no idea ^_^

And thank you for the compliment. I know this wasn't everyone's fav piece of mine, but I'm glad you enjoyed it!

"A great blend, not perfect, but truely fantastic!"

date: August 3, 2009

Now this is refreshing! Such a great blend of styles, coming together to create beauty.

However, there are some very minor things I don't like about this sloop. First thing, is that's it's a sloop. I would love to hear an actual ending that doesn't just leave the listener just hanging there. A build down from what is currently the end would be wonderful. Also, I didn't like the piano bends at 0:47ish. It's an approprate effect, but I thing you could have chosen a sound that is made to bend such as an electronic sound.

The song, sorry, sloop is an overall great piece. The drums make the atmosphere so unique, and just lovely! I also really apprecitate the fact that it's about stars and snow (well, it was snowing). I don't get much snow where I live, so I can't help but like that!

Really great! Fanastic original sloop!

<PS>

Thanks!
With the piano bend, I was going for a "falling star," and I felt like I wanted to keep the simplicity and beauty of the piano. But I do appreciate your feedback. It's good to know what my listeners like or dislike about my artistic choices.

Thanks for the support! ^_^
