This starts out as a piano piece, but halfway through a full orchestra joins in. I really believe it turned into something very epic in size and sound.

I need to say that my good friend Tokolos helped write some of the piano stuff you are hearing. Sadly, he did not get as much of a chance to work on it as me because my pc crashed. And it not only erased all my FL sessions, but corrupted the program itself.

You should go listen to some of his works. They are quite well written and very creative.

Sadly, this is the final version of the song. I was actually going to add a lot more to it, but it obviously wasn't meant to be. I might try to re-create this in the future. I want to add guitars and vocals to it. I want to turn it into a Blind Guardian type of song.

"Beautiful"

Absolutely, totally, amazingly beautiful. I may be a raver, but I took many years of music lessons and learned so much about music. The transition/introduction of the orchestra is well done. The entire piece flows together beautifully. As I listen I can visualize an actual orchestra playing this. This piece is a superb work of sound engineering. You have a clear talent for music.

"Very full of potential."

There's a lot of potential here. I could see this as an intro to a more energetic piece a 4 minute intro is rather epic when you think about it. :P But if you want to continue or add onto this I would say go for it. Spice it up a little, the best parts are definitely with the strings so I can imagine what you could do with "a bit more."

Yea, my pc crashed and we lost the session file for this. So I totally understand what you are saying, because I completely agree. There was so much more we wanted to do with it, but technology bit us in the butt to say the least. :-/

The transition into Major is amazingly epic in the end. The best thing about arpeggiated scales is they never get old. xDDD
