Sure, I've heard better, but I've heard worse. (i.e. Your other stuff)
As you said, it's just a demo, and there is loads of room for improvement. But it's shaping up nicely so far.
Oh yeah, constructive criticism:
That roll at the start? You might want to put some double bass in.

Yeah I sure will. There was like, another drum beat in there, on a track over the top. I am doing it in audacity so it's kind of hard but I'll re-do the whole drum track in fl or something.
