A progressive metal track based on 8-bit chiptunes from the NES game Contra Force. Based on the first level's music.
I was messing around with guitar production and decided to remake this track from the little-known game Contra Force for the NES. The game itself was pretty good except for weird slowdowns, but there were also a few notable tracks in the game that people needed to hear. (I'm not sure who composed the source material chiptunes.)
Yup, that's me, proving once again that NES-era 8-bit music is still full of kickass surprises. At least, I hope you agree with me.
Give this track a listen and let me know what you think.
