-=*=- February FAWM Challenge: Song #1 of 14 -=*=-

A progressive metal track based on 8-bit chiptunes from the NES game Contra Force. Based on the first level's music.

I was messing around with guitar production and decided to remake this track from the little-known game Contra Force for the NES. The game itself was pretty good except for weird slowdowns, but there were also a few notable tracks in the game that people needed to hear. (I'm not sure who composed the source material chiptunes.)

Yup, that's me, proving once again that NES-era 8-bit music is still full of kickass surprises. At least, I hope you agree with me.

Thanks for making this. Gives me so much good memories of playing this with my friends! Also, c'mon. Great job you made! Very close to the original while sounding great on it's own as well! 10/10.
