Inspired by the beautiful music from classic Super Nintendo RPGs like Final Fantasy 4 & 6, and Chrono Trigger, I decided to write my own original album of RPG-style music using the same instrument samples that were used in the actual games. The album itself is still unfinished (and progressing pretty slowly), but here's one of the songs that I've finished.
"You enter a strange forest filled with magic, mist, and monsters. The path is twisted and labyrinth-like. Finding the other side isn't going to be easy... Wait, which way did you come in again?"

well done
i especially liked the progression from a feeling of mystery to intrigue and adventure.
the vocals really helped with the mystical feeling.

This has a very good feel to it!
What better way to intimidate a noob at RPGs than to present a somewhat creepy feeling BGM in a forest? You, ma'am, have my respect!

Very RPG.
I feel this would be very fitting in a Square game for the SNES/PS. The music gives a lot of great visuals.
"Beams of sunlight softly penetrating though the dense forest. 'Where am I?' The leaves crackling under the feet of the (hero/heroine). A soft creek runs near by bringing a small feeling of safety, but reality fights back and danger sets back in.
'Im lost.. how did I get here?' Moving slowly through this endless forest as a soft breeze blows through the trees."
Very good.. you may not disappoint me in the future.. I expect more great works such as this.
PS: The Pizzicato on the violin sounds amazing. As do the voices.
I somehow missed this review back when it was posted - sorry about that! I really like your description of the song, though. :> Thanks so much for the feedback.

Awesome.
The scene starting at 0:55 sounds a little too happy for a confusing forest, I think, but I love it. I could imagine I found a peaceful village of elves right in the forest. Then, at 1:27, I wake up from my dream and find myself in a ruined village. And the confusion sets in again...
I liked this one the most out of your works. Awesome piece. ^^
Awww, thanks. :)
I get that comment a lot about that particular section sounding too happy. :P I guess I'll have to think about keeping the mood more consistent in future compositions.
I'm really glad you like it, though! Thanks for the feedback.
