This is my submission for January's Monthly Audio Contest (MAC). The theme is a Valentine's day theme and the goal was to write a song embodying the thoughts, feelings, and emotions of love. When I thought about the song I wanted to write, I really came up with a story that I wanted to portray about love in general. This sort of relates back to my Flight of Freedom MAC08 where I did the same thing. Anyhow, here's what I came up with and based my composition around.
Fair warning: This is a very lame story and description, but it encompasses exactly what I wanted to portray through the music.

Sitting in class you vaguely hear the professor lecturing about something. You're more focused in on the girl sitting in the seat a couple rows in front of you. Staring at her, you twirl your pencil in your hand.
All of sudden the girl looks back and your eyes catch hers. Your heart races and you immediately look down at your blank sheet of paper, frantically wondering if she noticed you were staring.
Over the course of the next couple of weeks, you work up the courage to ask her out. After class one day, you catch her walking out of the class. Walking next to her, you begin to talk about class, "Man, the professor is always so boring..." (Crap that sounded retarded).
But she replies and you start talking. She says she has to leave to catch the bus and you catch her hand, speeding your words up as you speak. Finally, you ask her on a date and await a response...
She says yes! And your heart races and you smile at her as she rushes to catch the bus.
You and your girlfriend ride out the rollercoaster that is a relationship and end up going through some rough patches. Things aren't going so well, but you keep trying. Eventually, you come through and everything between the two of you is better; like the first day when you asked her out.
Watching her silently asleep, you begin to drift off as you feel her warmth.

Lame I know... Anyways, enjoy! I've spent a long time on this one and put a lot of effort into it.
Please vote fairly, thanks in advance for any comments!
