Well this song's been in the making for a long while now. Originally, I started off trying to score "The Watchmen" trailer, but I really let go of myself and came out with something different. After listening to the song about 100 times when going through the final mixing and mastering, I came up satisfied with the name "The Raid." I also had a little story in my mind describing the piece as well. It's not super specific and detailed, but here goes.

...Following your comrade in front of you, you make your way down the ventilation shaft. You keep passing the vents where you can see soldiers below you on guard. Taking a deep breath, you move forward. The person in front of you stops and motions for you to do the same. He turns and you can see through his goggles that you've arrived at the destination.

Checking your gun one last time, you nod a ready sign to him. He holds his fingers up for you and counts down silently. 3.. 2.. 1..

You hear a violent crash as you and him drop down to the floor below you. You're in the room and you can see the documents you have to retrieve, but a surprised look on the guard's face startles you.

Grabbing the documents you fight your way alongside your comrade out of the building where the helicopter awaits.

Meh, not the best story ever, but that's sort of what I had in mind.

Simply spectacular

This song really suites its title and its story that you told about it. This song also has a grim atmosphere that is really great and suites this song. All this variety of instruments makes this song skillfully crafted and very well mixed thus making this a spectacular song. Hope you keep up the spectacular work in making better songs and good luck in doing so.

......

One of your darker pieces, I love how it seems like it's sneaky at first, and then gradually gains pace, stops for a second to build suspense, and then starts again.

Perfect,the name says it all.

Your music is an inspiration,Truly staying along the lines of
actually classical.I find it hard to say i like this more or less than dungeon of
deceit. This is the quality i expect from you now.But looking at your songs,it seems to be a standard.I can see your music making it to the best of all time list already.

I loooove the piano

This song has the right touch of 'fucking epic' to it.
It's really awesome....hmm, I'll see if I can work out a story in it...

The giant fort gates (mordor gate size) slide open, as the small army walks out (in slow motion).
at 0:26, they begin to charge, weapons drawn, running (in slowmotion, still).
at 0:42, they hit the enemy line, and begin to kill, left right and center.

at 0:57, from behind the enemy lines, a row of catapults fire, and it begins to rain down giant boulders. A few hit the fort, and the wall begins to collapse. a lot of their men die, as giant boulders crash down on them. Only three remain, and they're fighting, with their backs all together, constantly battling of the hundreds of swords that are constantly trying to kill them. Then, from over the remnants of the fort wall, a swarm of thousands of men advance. The enemy is thwarted quickly.

Then the three survivors quit their side because they were used as cannon fodder, the end.
:P

Wow

Incredible mix of atmosphere, fluidity and musicality. It is always moving but the timing is so perfect it never suffers from the pitfalls of many linear pieces where something just doesn't work. Skillfully crafted, very well mixed- this is just great.
