Okey-doke. I was having a writer's block with classical stuff, and felt an extreme need to write a song for Krista. So I was going through my old projects files looking for ideas and thought it would be fun to write a sequel to "Greyscale Cloudwatching."

Here's the product. Yay!

I really need some reviews on this, because I'm giving it to Krista for Valentines Day and it needs to be awesome. :P So, by all means be as brutally honest and constructively criticising as possible! Thanks for the listen.

compressor

there is a slight buzz throughtout the whole song, using a compressor can fix that, although, im not sure whats causing it

i dont think the melody is random and its very nice

other than the buzz, its all very nice

peace out SessileNomad

Thanks for the review! The buzz is actually coming from the pad, and it's supposed to be there. More of a character thing, really. And I don't like compressors, they spoil my dynamics. :( Anyway, thanks again for the reivew!

Great sequel

It feels like everything has been taken a bit further from the first song. The planet is really alive now when the boy and the girl has painted it with colors. They are now traveling together through a beautiful world, visiting all kinds of people. And everyone is happy.

Excellent work on all instruments. The melody and the mood was recognizable but yet unique compared to the first one. I think you're getting better and better with making music. :)

I liked this one a lot, and I'm sure Krista will like it too. Keep up the great work!

Thank you! I was really looking forward to this review, and I'm glad you think this is good! I'm still going through and fine-tuning everything, but mostly everything is done. I'm glad I continued the story of these kids well...

Yay... thanks for the review, ReFreezed! I hope Krista likes this, too.

peicefull....really love the softness of this....practice...and you will make something awsome! hey you might whant to consider makeing something fast (not that slow is a bad idea) good work

Lamplighter responds:

Why, thank you! I've got some projects I'm working on that are faster, to expand my horizons. Practicing is pretty much the only thing I can do now. Thanks for the review!

main theme

u need to make a main melody that is not that random, its not very melodic

Lamplighter responds:

Yeah.. kinda realized that. A main theme just isn't the way I usually do stuff, but I'll sure try to work one in here. Thanks for the review!
