I started writing this song while sitting among friends with my guitar in Bemidji, Minnesota at a German immersion program I took part in for a month. I committed the first few riffs to paper on the spot, because I knew I didn't want to forget them. Upon returning home in late August, I continued to write, only this time instead of paper I input my ideas into Guitar Pro expanding the few riffs to a backbone which I (working, of course, at my own leisure) embellished upon with solos and and the like, and eventually writing the bass and percussion parts. Most of the recording was completed at my friend's house, with a mic aimed at my Crate FXT65, and he recorded the drums in the same manner. Unfortunately, I had to leave before we could get to the bass, so he recorded that on his own time (thanks Joseph).

FUck this is cool.

Great opening.
Some of the leads in parts actually sounded like vocals for a minute. haha. Dig this a lot. Nice.

The break at 2:00 was cool as fuck, and transitioned quite nicely into heavy again. haha.
Anyways, great song.

not heavy enough

It was very quiet to me. I had to turn up my volume. Needs more heavy in the metal

mistahmoo responds:

Lol, ok. I know the production wasn't that great, but what do you expect from a mic into an amp :P I'd like to know what you think of the song itself, though.
