Well, this is my submission for the Mirror's Edge Remix contest (and first attempt on proper vocals in a track). You can vote on it on jamglue if you have an account by adding it to fav.

Many hours went into making this, but I couldn't figure out how to spice up the main trance melody, so I went the easy way with that one. I first tried to make the track very slow-paced and relaxing but that just got boring so I spiced up the bassline and added a acid-like synth with it, and surpisingly, that went really well with the vocals (even though the vocals are very chillout-like).
A Version 2 will maybe come, there are some parts I'm not entirely satisfied with.

Votes and stuff are much appreciated.

Oh, If you haven't played Mirror's Edge yet, then I suggest you get your ass to the store and buy it NOW.

.. added & fixed some vocal issues, added a synth, made the piano more prominent, adjusted the bass down a bit, and changed the mastering.

This is the best trance remix on newgrounds by far. if anyone on newgrounds can top this with another trance remix, i'll be amazed...but we all know that wont happen. lol

I'm actually about to release my version of still alive...just not trance though. be sure to check it out. You'll be amazed, might cry a little, but in the end, you'll know that you're still alive. (LOL best quote i ever came up with)

Now really, the ONLY thing that urks me is at 1:11 when the 1st verse comes in, it's a little bit off beat. try to fix that. other than that, this song pwns. ^_^v

Wow, thanks man. Hearing stuff like that is a big helper when producing.

I'll be sure to check out your track when you release it. Crying? Maybe, I can get pretty emotional at times ^^.

I was actually working on the track some days ago, but I got a critical error and the program shut down automaticly (and I forgot to save). But I've listened to that part multiple times now and I actually can't hear what's off beat there though :S

Its great!

but you shuld rethink about the standart base, by my view was too high in the begining but its fast enought too i start to coomplain

Thanks, but I'm not sure if I know what you mean, but if you're talking about the bass, it sounded perfect in my headset and home theater, but I'll look into it.
