Pretty Good

Well, This is a pretty good song overall. Hence the title of my post. I liked the simple background with the complex front. As far as I can tell all the notes sound good in progression and in the chords, so ye got double kudos there. The only thing i see that could be better is the beat. Ye need a more rolling sound, as in, deep to higher pitched drums and snares. It seems like ye relied on the same snare pitch a ton, and I think the actual beat of the drums rocks, but the lack of variety takes away from the entire song. It rocks for each individual instrument, and everything but the drums came together fantastically. Congratz on making a great song, for as a whole, it's better than most.

i like the sounds of the flute starting at like 1:00, and the guitar at 1:17.

That was pretty cool!

Great song.

The percussion is a little generic, though. It is also strong on the volume, and doesn't let up. Try dropping it altogether at 1:58, and maybe bring in another one of those winds (ocarina or whatever that is).

Once the beat is fixed, this song should go from great to amazing.

felt like Ape Escape

Which is great

Its a nice, slowly progressing song. The pipe (for lack of better word) is not something I would regularly see on a NG related music submission so thats cool to see, and I love how you personally recorded for the guitars at the end. Great work from a consistently good artist, grats on being mentioned by Tom Fulp too.
