Valentines day is around the block and the audio forum has another comp going on. However, v-day isn't guaranteed awesomeness for everyone. Some of us aren't fortunate enough to have steady relationships. This song goes out to the people who are uncertain as towards how their v-day will go. Will you get laid? Will you hook up with that cute girl you like? Gonna fuck your hand? I know I will :D (but only if I have permission, I wouldn't dare fuck your hand without consent.)

So no matter what happens, I want you all to have a good time this v-day. Now get on the dance floor and shake yo ass sucka.

*The voice samples are from a collab between me and warspawn. Look out for it soon. Also, there's a deep sub bass. If your speakers are too weak for them, your missing out on half of the composition :/

The melody is exponentially great. Gives me a nostalgic feeling. I like the reeses, they are very interesting at times especially when they intwine. Great bass. gooddai Cory sir.

Author's Response:

Hmm, there's actually only one reese that gets modulated. It sounds like there are two because it has two oscillators getting filtered separately, but it's really only one instance of the malstrom. Also, that lead synth melody towards the begining/end... same reese just sent through an RPG-8tor. Glad you liked the song sir :D

The bass drum seemed scattered. The synth wasn't bad. (What did the dude say?) At about 1:30 the electro music got interesting. The percussion I thought could use some work. Some awkward breaks happened too. The piano sounded great though. 3/5 7/10

its pretty good. composition i like. the song feels kinda shallow around 1.50 with just the reese and the drums. and i feel the synth at like 50 seconds is a little thin. the bends especially. hope that was helpful. :D

Author's Response:

Theres a deep sub bass at 1:50. Upgrade your speakers taiyo :D

Also, by 50, do you mean 1:50 again?

"Interesting..."

The production is pretty good, it's clean and all. That and I really like some of the synths you used, it doesn't sound like typical DnB at all, and I find that refreshing. The drums are also pretty good, they're really dry, but it fits the song well, and they're nice and punchy too. There's also a ton of variation in your rhythms, which is always cool to hear.

But I gotta fault you for the chord progression. It's incredibly overused, and while it does fit the feeling you're going for pretty well, I would have liked to hear a bit more experimental-ness with your structure, as all other parts of this song are so unique sounding.

Overall pretty damn good though, and cool description too. Nice work.

Author's Response:

I'm not very good when it comes to melody... being a drummer and all... can I fuck your hand?
