This is a composition I did a while ago in midi format for a school project. It is supposed to represent the beach, the 'swelling' strings represent the coming and going of the tide and the form, ternary (A-B-A) represents how the beach is constantly changing, yet somehow stays the same, as the end section is in a different key, etc...(All this stuff was compulsory - it made sense at the time)!! Its called 'Another Place' because on the beach near where I live there is an artwork called 'Another Place' by an artist called Anthony Gormly, which is what inspired my brief for this piece. The bit that is out of time at the begining (the bit in the harpsichord melody) - that was my music teachers fault, and it could never be rectified, damn him!!

Hope you like it. x

what dicennian said!

yeah. Very well done, with a medieval touch to it. Sounds like something a bard would play.

This would fit like a glove in a 2d-retro-Rpg classic. Good work, I love the "kind-harpischorish" sound you got there. Quality with a touch of professional. Good Work! :)
