This song is a collab between myself and Tamadrum and is being submitted to the MAC9 Valentine's Day contest on the BBS. >:-D

It is a song about hope, about perseverence, and above all else, love. The title "After The Rain" was chosen to represent an undying devotion to another. Through both the good times and the bad, real love endures.

The song comes in two sections. The beginning almost represents loneliness. A young man admires a girl afar, thinking she is unnatainable. As the song progresses, the boy dares to speak to the girl and they develop a close bond. As the sax and oboe go back and forth, the young couple starts to realize their mutual love for one another. The two get happily married. The second and faster section of the song represents their journey through life together and all of the joy that it brings. The song slows as they grow old together, til death do they part.

That's the gist of it, anyway. :P Enjoy the song; it was a lot of fun to write!

Sincerely,
Tama and Blaze

(PS. This song is devoted to our good friends, Kim and Chadwick ^_^)

"Mental Imagery Abounds"

Wow, Just reading your AN and realizing that you hit the nail on the Head. The Proposal at 1:59, i can see the guy down on one knee, ring in hand... Great transitions, beautiful ending, and i can never get enough of the sax.

I can absolutely see that part being a proposal. That is excellent imagery my friend. :)

"Heeey...."

Y'know this sounds a lot like FF7. Do I sense some Square-inspired music here, or is it just my imagination? Anywho, good work. Sorry I haven't been reviewing you lately, but you've only released three things this year. I need more!

Keep it up.

Author's Response:

I released another. Check it out! lol

This song is a bit FF7 inspired. The chord progression at the beginning is kind of a mix between Tifa's Theme and the Mega Man 2 intro.
