This was inspired by a Left 4 Dead video I saw on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/w atch?v=JNeCiyujMfE) and, hopefully, it came out pretty good. It was basically designed to go along with any video (mainly frag or action videos) or video game and make it that much more awesome. Hopefully it loops well, and if it doesn't then you can cure that with Audacity or something. Anyways. Kick ass, NewGrounders!

Eargasmic metal is always the best. Glad to hear this song has joined the ranks. ;)
I use this as one of the songs in my custom version of Quake III Arena. It's the replacement for the music heard when you fight Phobos for the first time.
But, thanks. I really agree with your statement. \m/

"Murderface rolled them up and SMOKED them! MURDERFACE!"
I'm glad you think Pickles did a nice job. I think so, too. I mean, come on. He IS Pickles, after all. And the guitars? Epic? Der! Who do you think's writing them? Skwisgaar's amazing. And, I guess you won't be asking "where's the bass" any more.
Lol! J/K! Even though it's pretty much true. ;)
But, in all seriousness, I'm really glad you enjoyed it. And, I'm even more glad that you think the guitars are epic!

Thanks a bunch, dude! \m/
Stay Brutal.

"Brutal"

This was exceptionally brutal. The drums were pulverizing, the guitar was driving (sorta), and the bass was loud and clear. I liked this a lot.

Author's Response:

Thanks, man! I'm really glad you enjoyed it so much!
But, yes. The guitars and bass only have four riffs that I cycle through in the entire song. It's mostly carried by the variety of the drums. Which, as you stated, are quite pulverizing.

Stay Brutal! \m/

And I like your username.

Pretty awesome. Guitars sound ok, still sounds pretty fake though. But the riffs are good, they're pretty brutal :D. As for the drums, i mean what the hell, a bit over the top lol. They're a bit crazy :P and they kinda over power the guitars. But other than that, it sounds good! \m/ ;)

Author's Response:

Yay! Netty! And, yes. The guitars don't sound real, and aren't meant too (it's kind of a half excuse for me not tightening up the mixing job). If it sounds bad ass, then the goal of the song has succeded.
But, I'm glad you think it's brutal!
Thanks, man!

I'm all for the sound of triggered bass drums but you just went nuts with this one. Really overwhelmed the rest of the loop. I'm not really a fan of the fl slayer guitar tone either, but the riffs themselves are quite good. I found myself craving for blast beats somewhere near the end, but I suppose that would have detracted from the looping feel. In future, just calm down with the bass :P

Author's Response:

Lol. Yeah, I was kind of just making everything as extreme as possible, and FL Slayer can go eat shit and die for all I care. I almost feel dirty thinking about it! >_< No, I used a much better tool created by the one and only Daven Hughes. I kind of improved it, especially recently. The reason why it kind of sounds like FL Slayer is because of the "bass guitar" patch I used kind of overpowers the guitar. And, so it's mainly its tones that you hear. The guitar is almost indiscernible, but not inaudible. And, yes I will be much better in my later tracks, you can trust me.
