EDIT (2-21-09): Audio top scorer, along with another one of mine, A Hero Is Born! Thank you so much for the overwhelming positive feedback. I love you, NG! I LOVE YA!
EDIT (5-10-09): 200 dowloads! Yayyyyy!!!!

This project started as a love affair with Hans Zimmer and Klaus Bladet and their work on the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack. It soon developed into a full blown soundtrack suite.

Enjoy this massive 4:45 demo, and if you can believe it, the full piece keeps approaching the ten minute mark with every day I work on it. In any case, working on Hell on High Tide has been a total musical joyride.

Rate it well! Review it well! Love it! LOVE IT!

Love,

Sam

Huzzah

This has a great atmospheric feel to it - he says with low sweeping bow of his piratical hat - I could listen to this all day matey! I love the celtic overtones. There is something reminiscent about this piece....I think it's kinda transiberian orchestral - and I mean that in a positive way. keep up the good work

Well done!

I like this piece a lot--it manages to sound epic without being horribly overpowering. Also, and I don't know if it's just me, but several parts seem to have a Celtic feel (Kudos on that, I love Celtic stuff) to them, while others not so much...My only problem, really, is that I kept getting "lost"--I felt that your piece didn't have a cohesive build-up to a climax (almost like you went up two steps, then fell back one, if you get my meaning), so yeah...A bit of a let-down, but maybe I just missed it or something. *Shrug*

Anyway, good work!

As a matter of fact, that was intentional! I was playing around with seeing how many times I could have a climactic build end in the piece simply building up again from scratch.
