Hello there again, another track from my upcoming EP "Eternal Sin - the Great Conquest"! A more experimental vocal approach than usual, combined with a very folk-influenced black metal sound. Highly melodic, I think you will especially enjoy the bridge section of this track - but listen for your yourself and tell me how you like it!

Please leave a comment - all reviews will get a response and are very appreciated!

Lyrics:

In times before the sin had reached his soul

Morality and decency held up high

Released he must be from the ties of the enemy
Released he is from this bond of blood

The chosen one, he is our lord, the son of the fire!

Soiled in the curse of time

Lust and Greed held up high

Very evil, and headbangable. Really dig the vocals. The whole song kicks ass. Nice man.

for the growling. It was to Satanic for me. I like clean vocals and grunts used sparingly like in most Gothic metal bands. The music was very good and quite enjoyable. If you were going for non-understandable lyrics then congrats I couldn't even follow along. Mostly because of the fact the vocals scared me. Time to get Heavy at Habbo Hotel.

"too satanic" ? :P there are no satanic lyrics in this one, by the way.

Glad you enjoyed it though!

"Great stuff."

The intro is nice and the riffs are good straight off the bat, nice mixture of speed and melody with a lovely degree of coldness (helped by the vocals of course. I don't see where you've experimented, but I like them all the same - as usual).
The fills in the riffs are nice.
And the production is much fuller this time - which the Nev demographic prefers ;).

I actually prefer the rest of the song to the bridge :P.
And I really like the outro, kinda reminds me of Sigh.

I like it Marky :).

Hehe, thanks a lot for the detailed review dude :) I'm glad it appealed to the demopgraphic of Nev ^^

I used some different growling techniques here. Not much of a difference in sound, but it was a lot different to record.
