I came up with a small part of this song last night and decided to build onto it, this is what it sounded like this morning. It's a bit more cliché and repetitive than I hoped it would turn out to be. I played everything you hear myself on my trusty keyboard, this is one of my first songs that uses no pre-made loops at all, so I'm quite proud of that :)

"Pretty Nice"

A nice, relaxing piece. It's amazing how you're able to arrange such simple chords and melodies into a beautiful song like this.

And, as said before, MAKE MOAR.

Extremely peaceful and pleasent. I great song to lean back in your chair to and relax.
I agree with Spike - make moar.

I always wanted to learn to play the paino or a keyboard - ya got talent.
The ending was my fav part. :3

"Nice pacing."

date: January 5, 2009

I like the way the layers and pace gradually picks up, it's a good technique that really helps reinforce the song, so nice work on that front. A good song all around, my only suggestion would be to use a different string as this one sounded too computery and broke away from the natural sounding piano.

Other than that, great job, a very melodic piece.

9/10.

Author's Response:

Thanks Dep! Those strings have been the biggest pain in my ass actually. I've spent quite some time trying to make them sound less 'flat' and 'high', or computery as you call it :) There's about 8 of them so I was hoping that they would sound more natural combined, but I can't really say I've nailed that part yet. <3 for the review

This is a very nice song, i really like but your write it is a bit repetitive, still i like the build up of it like emotions swelling up inside you, very nice!

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review! I think it's a bit too repetitive as well, I might make a newer version someday.
