A song I made with the image of a fallen ship the size of a city crashed on an alien planet. There are survivors, but some of these are acting, how to put it? Strange. Crew members turn against one another, some out of madness, others from alien parasites infecting their minds. For those who still retain their minds and sanity, their only hope is to find a way out of the ship. However, with the insane and possessed following their movements, and unknown alien species boarding from the exits, how long can they survive before their lives must end?

You may notice that the song title doesn't much reflect my opinion there. This is simply because I thought it also sounded like a scientist trying to escape the laboratory, unsure of where his experiments currently reside.

Too long

I didn't really like this that much, sorry if that bothers you but I'm just being honest here. It was a little slow for my taste, which I am not taking a lot off for. What I mainly took off for is pretty much what the guy said below me. It is waaay to long. I see that you said you were going for the repetitiveness and that's fine. However if you do a track thats supposed to be that way, I don't think it has to be anywhere near this long. Especially since the audio portal is set to auto loop any track. I think it would be much better if you just ended the track on a note that flows back into the beginnng well so this way when it loops it sounds like it never stopped.

the mind of a gamer

ok how long and how many times had you played games from Metroid?
it song real good but one problem i have is that its seems all the same, over and over

Dark-Frando responds:

Thanks ^^ to tell the truth I don't play metroid much XD the idea simply came from an idea I had for a story of sorts. I guess I should of mentioned that the song also represents the silence of being alone, yet the sounds that go on around whirring and clattering on and on in a repetitive way. =P

Thanks for taking the time to comment another of my songs ^^

this is great

man i might have to have you as one of the main people for music for my animations. very nice.

Dark-Frando responds:

Thanks, I'm glad you like my songs so much. Always appreciate hearing peoples thoughts =)

and thanks for the comment ^^

Different.

I think this song would be great in a movie with the scene you described. And I give you props for the imagery. However, I couldn't get into it with the audio alone. Try to make a flash movie and add this as one of the songs. I also recommend spicing the song up a little. I know it's a loop but I was expecting a little more diversity. I hope you do well on further songs!

Dark-Frando responds:

It is unfortunate that some songs become more enjoyable after you have seen them in use. I think this song may very well be one of them songs, as it really does have to be a background song whilst other things are going on. As for the flash movies... we all try at one point or another and some things are best left not done ^.~

Thanks for taking the time to review! =)
