Lol, I recognized some of the LMMS presets in this one. (right?) I'm not really a fan of up-beat techno/trance music (only if it really stands out), but I see some talent in this submission. Sounds professional!

Happy New Year! I tried to be the first one to post to the Audio Portal! This song was my attempt to make a good Heavy Metal Goatrance song. It didn't come out like I had hoped, but it's still great. It's really hard to make Heavy Metal riffs when you don't have a real guitar. To hear some real Heavy Metal Goa, look up "On Fire" by Astrix.
Also, I sampled from "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne.

yeah. the guitar's the erazor one, but i think i made most of the original synths and such from scratch. the bass, the kick, the synths, and the transition synth are all made from scratch. the snare was a 909 sample from freesound. the guitar's the only preset really.

A man after my own tastes. I love it, and yeah I feel your pain of not having a guitar, and alas, I will never be able to satiate my own desire to make metal goa like some of Astrix's songs until I get a hold of a real guitarist. This song isn't quite psychedelic though, but it rides close to it.
Considering most of Crazy Train sucks, you managed to take the awesome intro part and make it cool. Props.

Actually, because it's not illegal to sample Newgrounds songs, I'm going to look into sampling some of the heavy metal stuff. I just have to find a clean guitar sample.
EDIT: I've decided on a VSTi, instead: http://www.superriff.com/. It's not perfect, but it should do well for my purposes.

I'm feeling the melody and beat. It's really neat. The occassional ozzy voice is very interesting. I like it. Too bad there aren't other vocals eh. Oh shit!!! Crazy Train guitar gone electronic. Damn. That's really fuckin' nice, dude. I'm really feeling this song, now.
I'm not much of a fan on the screaming "All aboard" though. I'm just not feeling it, for some reason. This has such has a really good beat.
The only ALL ABOARD I liked was at the start and at the end. I thought the one at the end was going to set up for like a crazy synth, but it didn't. =[

Well, I wanted this to be a psytrance version of Crazy Train, so I decided to sample the original and use the same melodies and stuff. I'm glad you liked it.

Not that I'm a trance fan, but this brings me back memories when as radio DJ for a trance show, I used to find every conceivable excuse to play rock and metal trance covers... And this is decent enough for me!
I particularly liked the phasing of the main riff. I would suggest you used a deeper bass drum though, as this one sounds a bit thin. If you like it as it is, you can add a second one (with a deeper sample though) on a duplicate of the bass drum line on a separate channel and apply a high-cut filter to lets say, about 200Hz...

I actually had a nice powerful psy kick before, but I decided to go with this one.
imo, one of the defining features of psytrance is the kick, but I believe in a more subdued kick, a kick you can feel rather than hear. However, I think I'm gonna make a trance song some day with a kick like Astral Projection.
and skazi has some really good heavy metal goa, like total anarchy 1.
