Actually there are 3 music styles clashing here, first part is Rock Ballad, second is Country/ Blues and just third is Metal.
This I made for a collab on another music oriented site, MyBand.ro.

awesome
I really liked the whole song really. I liked how you used. Other people said it's not metal, but I disagree. I really loved the ending metal part. It brought such a happy feeling. Very, very good job.

I would do it faster but I had to use a backing track made by someone else ... so, not much to change ... and was all in Classical "balladish" Christmas carols style ... was quite a challenge to match the 3-rd part ... good thing that I get so many bad marks for that, isn't it ?

eh, not even close to metal. But i like the different styles though.
Well, Metal style have a lot of subcategories, if you're more familiar with several and less familiar with the rest, doesn't make those less Metal.

dude weak not metal
so, regardless of: layering guitars, playing solos, remaking harmonies to match with different styles, trying to fit a classic Metal rhythm (gallop, used and overused by Iron Maiden, btw) in 3/4, you gave it a 4 just because didn't fit with YOUR IDEA about how should sound ...
Anyway, is YOUR music Metal enough ?
