This started out as me just obssessing over the three chords you play on the organ in Chrono Trigger. A sort of underated track that I was curious about. I found it also works with another Chrono Trigger song many people have remixed. Then I got all original with it for the sake of writing. This was alot of fun to make and my only regret is that all I have to work with is Finale.
Consider if you will what happens after Chrono plays those chords.
He leaves through the now openned door and a wayfarer from outside, having heard the unfinished hymn enters. He plays the chords of his trade with variation and is joined by other instruments and in the end a multitude of sounds and voices.
For your consideration, Wayfarer's Hymn.

Cool

A really good one, mate...
I also did obssess with the chords in the game, where simply beautiful.

Soullink responds:

The sad thing is that it's improved and I've even started integrating the cathedral theme. But my finale no longer allows me to export audio. Sigh.

First!

Surprised nobody has reviewed on this yet. It's an excellent blend of the two, and I liked the gradual add-on of the other instruments into the song. I think the chorus at the end could've been a little louder, but otherwise it's a very nice piece.

Soullink responds:

I believe the reason why no one has reviewed is because I lack the proper equipment to truely master this piece. I had originally hoped to team up with a fellow artist who had more experience and the means to help me finish this piece. Sadly... I just can't seem to put the icing on this cake. It needs something more both as a piece and in its mastering. That being said I sought out the crew at OC Remix to help me. Though they all view, downloaded, and offered constructive critisim on the site, they don't have accounts here. The result. Lots of views, votes, but no reviews. Thank you for the first. I like the choir end too, just needs an amen/hallelujah I think.
