EDIT, March 4: Whoa, #14 in the top 30. I really don't understand how the top 30's calculated at all. Thanks, guys! This was a one-off (i.e., not my best) singing clip done in a couple of spare minutes so a couple of friends could add me as a favorite muscian, and I never expected to see it go anywhere, much less the audio front page.
Mrmilkcarton's done an experimental dance track using samples from this clip; it's in my profile as well.
If you'd like to hear more polished vocal performances of mine, clips are (a) in my Favorite Audio, for collaborations with other NG artists or (b) on my MySpace.

This is an excerpt of a song I wrote while on a bus from Boston to New York City this summer. I re-recorded it today, because I've had requests to submit some original stuff. :) The lyrics are rough, but this is an idea of their structure. It's a more folk-acoustic-influenced lyric set, as opposed to the trance collaborations I'm currently working on and more known for.
This can also be taken as an example of a Blue Snowball microphone test. It was recorded in one shot (hence, the singing's not the highest quality either :P), and is completely unedited-- no noise removal, nothing. It should give you a good idea of the recording quality, for anyone interested in it.
Comments & questions always welcome! However, I ask that you don't use the vocals in any original tracks. If you're interested in writing an instrumental for this track, let me know. I'm not proficient in much instrumentation, so I never really intended to go anywhere with this.
