There is no other song I have written on my own of which I am more proud. This song grew out of a fledgling of an idea and took shape through my own months of writing as well as in the recording process with Joesph Blair. It went from an acoustic solo to a straight three and a half minutes of groove with an edge.

This song will mess with your mind. Catchy is not what you know it to be.

EDIT: Top pick of the week after only having gone on for a few hours. I have to say thank you to everyone who took the time to listen to this track and give it such an outstanding rating. Feel free to check out my own info at www.WesleyBoynton.com, and the info for this project as it rolls along at http://www.entersubhyster ia.com. My album is also on iTunes, the album name is called Hemiola (Artist: Wesley Boynton).

The Wahs were a bit overbearing until the end. Try to reduce those a bit.

"Good work"

date: February 14, 2009

I really, really enjoyed that! The beginning parts reminded me of something by King Crimson, and man, that's saying a lot! Well executed riffs and the mastering is lovely... Very professional! The only thing that nagged me was the little hihat groove that played from time to time, for example at 01:26. I just disliked the sound of it, but that's just my personal opinion. Great work overall, you've earned my respect, I know how hard and time-consuming it is to create something like this :)

Author's Response:

Much thanks. Not many people appreciate the effort behind a good song, though effort never counts in comparison to the product that comes from it.

I'm glad you liked it!

This song is great. I personally don't like this genre but this one is one that I like.
