I couldn't finish this song because I had too many VSTs in the song. My sound card nor computer can handle it. So all I got was choppy and staticy playback. As a result, I had to pretty much make this song blindly. The only real way for me to test it was by exporting it to mp3 to see what i got so far. Can anyone help me solve this problem? I already put the buffer size thing in the settings all the way to the right, but it was still choppy. Also, I don't know why it cuts of for a second at 30 seconds, it shouldn't do that.

Thank you,

i have the same problem

i gave you a four by the way it might help out with the jerk who put a 2. My laptop does the same thing. I have to export it as a Mp3 to here what i am making, otherwise it is all choppy, but hey it works. To fix that you have to do multiple things. Increase your sound card capabilities, which isn't that hard, but if not careful you could fry your computer. The other thing you have to fix the amount of temporary memory you computer can compute at one time. To do this you have to add a chip to increase the amount your computer can process at one time, or buy a newer faster computer that is a very high processor. And you can only buy the chip for huge modems, not laptops because usually there isn't room to fit a chip in them. So on summary. Buy new computer or buy chip for montem, and also adjust the amount of sound your sound chip can handle
