Words do this no justice....
Hello again, everyone! This is my first true original classical (wow, four adjectives in a row) piece, and I'm not sure how it turned out. The delay makes it sound less... classical, and it sounds pretty mechanical. It's also short, and kind of random... my thoughts on this song aren't really that great, as you can tell. :)
It's inspired by a girl I know, so I'm dedicating it to her. Not sure if it's good enough for dedication, but oh well. This is for you, Krista!
Reviews are highly appreciated, and if you want a version without the delay just let me know.

Simple review, means a lot to me :D Thanks!
great :)
you wont see me bitch about this, it sounds great :) i hope your girl loves it, causei do, i love what you did at 1:20 on! longer wouldve been nice though (sry had to bitch about something) lol :) 5/5 10/10 (+0.047)
Well, actually she's not mine... I wish. :) If only...
Thanks for the review, I always love the encouragement!
Dedications are great.
I've got a classical song aswell I'm working on. Also dedicated to someone...
Need some tips on it though... So... if you get a chance. Think ya could help me?
The song isn't bad... But its not your best... its got good structure, yet I think it lacked a real strong melody. Like you said. At times felt random...
Other then that this song was great!
I'm still working on melody and keeping a theme... Glad you thought the structure was good. Looking at my piano roll for this song, everything seems all over the place.
You're working on a classical song also? Cool, I'll see what I can help with!
Thanks for the review, LubLub!
Great piece
Nice piano sound you got there ;)
I don't have much to complain at. The delay does makes it a bit less "classical" but it doesn't make the song any worse. In fact, it probably sounds better with delay than without.
As for the randomness... it didn't seem random at all to me. O_o Everything is quite well organized. The song would fit very well in a movie or a game. At some places it actually made me think of Metroid, for some reason. It sounds a bit, as shizeet here below said, free and mysterious.
And it's nice how you dedicate this song to that girl, Krista. I hope she'll hear it. :) Great work!
Thanks for the review! I'm glad everyone else likes this better than I do! I guess it's true that a man is his own worst critic. ;)
Metroid... hmm, never heard any of that stuff. I'll see if I can find a copy of the soundtrack and figure out that reference.
I couldn't finish this song in time to give it to Krista before our Christmas break, but I'm going to try to give it to her when we get back to school. :)
Sum
It doesn't sound too classical piano to me anyhow, so you should just keep the delay - it makes it sound good. Some of the chords didn't sound too good, but I liked the piece overall - feels kind of free and mysterious.
Okay, sure. This is my first piece, so I'm still working on all the musical details. :) I'm glad you liked it, though!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
