This is the second version.

Changelog:

- Better mixing
- Better mastering
- Less dry synths and the main battle theme song
- New bass added
- Some new effects

This is something I wrapped up in a day. I usually make Trance so this is my first go at Drum and Bass. I think it turned out pretty good, but I couldn't come up with a good melody so I decided to make a remix instead.

Enjoy.

Looks like those who heard it before have to clear the cache or download the song. At least in Opera it plays the old song.

Being on the Internet a lot, I've become much more familiar with Final Fantasy music. This was a great representation of an enjoyable theme. It gave me a feeling of adventure and triumphantness, which works very well for the Final Fantasy series (not just 7). It's probably one of the best I have heard in a long time. I haven't heard the original version (that you made) but this seems great by itself. I'm surprised it hasn't been used in any entries.

First of all I'm a fan of quite a lot of FF-Music and the idea of DnB mixing the classic FFVII track had me instantly click the link to this tune.

Sadly, even playing this at high-volume with my headphones, you get very little oomph out of it. The tune and the effects you added so far are good, but of little volume. You can hear the zip-zap/clicking noises over most of the actual synth (Not good). DnB is all about the Drums & Bass complimented by the tune, so if you ever re-release this with way more bass, volume on the FFVII track and maybe a more varied beat then this would be perfect and I'd love to hear it.

Loving the suggestions. I really want to make this sound good. So far I think it sounds good but I don't really listen to DnB that often so I don't really have a clue.

In my opinion I listen to drum and bass expecting to hear big sound. This song seemed pretty mellow IMO. The main melody is there, but I think you should have made it more dramatic with your effects.
