Influenced by Philip Glass + Wendy Carlos. Tell me if the snare is lame at the end.

"Excellent"

Amazingly relaxing song, it says so much.

The snare at the end is perfect, probably because it was very subtle, but it was a nice piece of variation.
This is excellent ambient music, all that reverb is great :D

Man I keep on telling you this, but , this song is one of your top ones so far, it just flows so well
from a man who sells christmas cards, and passes flyers.

"Beautiful."

Amazing melody. Mind blowing. I love how simple the lead is over the bouncing chords that drive it. The synths sound perfect.

The whole thing combined is so god damn good. I keep listening to it. I love the reverb. I like how the squeeking arp sounds almost like whistling in the background. I don't think you intended for this, but it has an amazing effect with the song, especially given its title and theme.

I haven't said much about the melody, and that's because it's perfect. I wish I could say more, but there isn't anything I can say other than it is among the nicest melodies I have ever heard.

Perfect minimalist percussion. Nothing more is necessary. Actually, I kind of do prefer it without the snare at the end, but that's just me. Evidently, other people like it. I've just always passionately hated marching snares; I don't think they ever sound good.

I really enjoy how the song trails off at the end, but it feels like the notes aren't going anywhere. I feel like maybe they should be going towards a particular note or just slowly climbing a nice chord.

Go fuck yourself.

"Now THIS is something different!"

date: December 14, 2008

Wow, dude, this song is unlike anything Ive heard on NG before, and it sounds really good! It's really quiet, and pretty, I love it! Its not too repeditive at all though, I can hear alot of (admittedly subtle) variation in this song, and its really neat. The whole thing sounds like it's been shoved through a filter which gives it a nice, surreal, relaxing feel.

The snare sounded really cool in there man, especially because you named it 'march'. I would have expected a snare anyways. I have never heard either of the two artists that influenced this song, but I might consider checking them out after hearing this!

Great job, and Good Luck in the competition!
